New safety measures as we welcome you back

Over the last few weeks we’ve been hard at work making sure that we can reopen safely. These are some of the steps we’ve taken to ensure your safety and ours.

It’s been a long few months for all of us and we hope you are coping OK with the aftermath of lockdown.

We’re delighted to be open again and welcoming students back through our doors.

Over the last few weeks we’ve been hard at work making sure that we can reopen safely. These are some of the steps we’ve taken to ensure your safety and ours.

Before your training

Ensuring you are well

Before any students or models attend our training, we ask them to complete a health questionnaire. This helps us to ensure that no-one comes to our training venue if it could put them, or anyone else, at unnecessary risk.

Pre-training information and forms

All other information and forms are sent out to you prior to your training, to minimise the exchange of paperwork when you arrive.

Things to bring with you

You will be asked to wear a face visor to your course. If you do not already own one, these can be purchased for £5.00.

Your model must wear a face mask. They may bring their own or we have them for sale upon arrival.

Please do not bring excess personal items such as shopping bags, large bags or un-required coats to your training.

However, you may bring refreshments with you as, unfortunately, we will not be able to provide these.

Ideally, we would prefer it if you could pay by card or bank transfer, rather than cash.

At our training salon

When you arrive

If you arrive early, please wait in your car or outside the training venue until your course’s start time.

Please enter the salon alone for the theory part of your course. Your model is welcome to wait in our garden area, your car or at a local café, until we are ready for them. Alternatively, please ask your model to arrive one hour after the course start time.

You will be asked to wash and sanitise your hands upon arrival.

Our team will wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. They will not come to work if they, or anyone they have been in contact with, is unwell with COVID-19 symptoms.

Enabling social distancing

Our one-to-one training naturally makes social distancing easier than group training. We have also staggered our courses to reduce the number of people in the salon at any one time.

We have moved treatment spaces further apart and installed screens.

Hygiene in the salon

We have implemented additional cleaning procedures within the salon. This includes maintaining our high levels of hygiene in frequently touched areas such as worktops, door hands and tools. Where possible, we will use single-use equipment.

We will provide gloves and disposable aprons for you, where required.

You will always have access to handwashing facilities and hand sanitiser. Our hand towels have all been replaced with disposable paper towels.

Please refrain from using your phone while you are here, unless it’s essential.

If your course includes a lunch break, you will need to eat your lunch outside of the salon. You are welcome to use our garden area or pop to a local café.

For more information

If you have any questions about your training course or concerns about coming to the salon, please get in touch with us on 07769 328 327 or info@bcbeautytraining.co.uk.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
